Artistic and Social
My National Career Assessment Examination, or NCAE, result is finally out. According to it, my top occupational fields of interest are Artistic (1st), and Social (2nd). One's at the artistic side of things, while the other assists other people and promotes learning and personal development.
I wonder if this DepEd test is precise as it ought to be. Still, it's just a piece of paper. The final decision is up to me.
Gulp.

Mahirap Magmahal ng Syota ng Iba
This week was the time where we were to present our song interpretations for Filipino. It's basically like this: You get a random classmate as a partner, and with him/her, you perform with means of acting, dancing and singing. I got paired up with Nikko. (And yes, we did act, dance ang sing :P)
Ours ended up being the top 1, which was cool for we worked hard for our presentation. What we did was a comedy and our song was a fusion of the old and new ''Mahirap Magmahal ng Syota ng Iba''. Since we were both guys and we wanted to play a couple, one of us had to play the part of (and dress like) a girl.
And let's, until the end of time, wonder who did just that.

Does She Really-
Is it just me or is someone dropping hints that she likes me? It's probably the first one... by a mile.

More Dancing
Cheerdancing, that is.
So, our batch won this year's High School Cheerdance competition, and we have to represent our school for an Interschool one. The competition's next week, and we're aiming for the gold. After all, Sir Norman hasn't lost a Cheering competition ever since, and we wouldn't want to be the ones who break that streak.
Good luck to everyone!

That about sums up this post. Sorry for the title name, though. I think I've had an overdose in Calculus of finding the limits of functions and the phrase, "the limit does not exist".

Nabalutan na ng itim ang kapaligiran.Malapit nang magtago muli, bituin at b’wan,
at pagkasabay ng paglaho ng dilim,
isang kaluluwa sa gabing malalim.
Magtipon na,
dala’y pagkain at alak.
Nariyan na,
dahilan ng pagkawasak.
Humanda na ang mundo
sa kanyang paglalaho.
Humanda na’t malapit nang simulan,
pakikipaglaro ni Kamatayan!
Hindi mo pa gusto,
umalis sa mundo?
Kung ayaw mo pa,
Sige, dali na…
Takbo!
Hanggang sa iyong makakaya.
Takbo!
Para sa iyong pagkalaya.
Wala nang lingon o tigil pa
kahit na takot na takot ka,
kahit ayaw mo na at ika’y gustong sumuko--
Pero, teka, sino ba ang iyong binibiro?
Kahit saan ka man pumunta,
makikita ka pa rin niya.
Saan mang sulok magtago,
ikaw pa rin ay lalaho
Ito na,
mga puno’y handa nang sumaksi.
Oras na,
sa rebelasyon na mangyayari.
Huminto na sa pagkilos.Puno ang tao ng nerbyos.
Nabibingi na sa sobrang katahimikan.
Kung anu-ano pumapasok sa isipan.
Sa oras na ‘di mo inaasahan,
doon ka maglalaho ng tuluyan:
‘’Talsik!
Bagong araw, bagong taludtod,
Ikaw na kaya ang susunod?

Author's comment: This week, Star World finally aired my favorite Heroes episode, "Homecoming". Also, lately, our Filipino teacher has been requiring us to do all sorts of compositions. (For this week, it's a dula or play script.) I thought now would be the right time to post the poem I did when we were tasked to do one a few weeks back. It's not the type of poem I'd usually make, but I think it came out nicely. Forgive the constant line construction errors, though.

It's your last big Intramurals game of your whole high school life - and you blow it. I guess you scoop more out of dear ol' life when you mistakenly get 2 spoons rather than with a spoon and a fork.
(Besides, it's just one loss. We're still in this to win it. Go, seniors!)

What I've Accomplished This Sembreak
3 Comments Published by Kevin on Sunday, November 04, 2007 at 9:38 PM.- Go swimming (and play bingo) at a resort in Laiya, Batangas.
- Start catching up on Heroes Season 2
- Help out on props-making for Wednesday's Cheerdance competition
- Go out for dinner with the family on Dad's birthday
- Visit our loved ones at Bulacan and Manila for All Soul's Day
- Have my first visit at TriNoma (Just how primitive did that sound?)
- Get myself a new cellphone
- Start on our required read, My Antonia
- Finally go to church after a while -- Man, did it feel good to be "requenched"!
It may or may not be much of what you might call a productive week. But, hey, slacking off most of my time was just fine with me.
Tomorrow, it's back to the real world again. Got to sleep already. Good night. :P
