Why do we humans sign in on Yahoo! Messenger, then have status messages like "DND" with countless exclamation points or an "I'm Very Busy"? If we really don't want to be disturbed, why don't we just go online as invisible or in fact, not sign in at all?That's a concept an old friend of mine threw at me back in high school when we were having a light fight. After that, it's a silly observation I've kept in mind ever since. Now, it makes the perfect stupid question to ask on such a day.
