A Different Kind of Cold

Last night, I read some scientists calculated that one of the last few weeks would contain the year's most depressing day. Then let's review what's happened to me lately, and see if we can find it, shall we?

Freshmen Recollection

The trick is to sign up the moment the school posts it up. Afterwards, fill the first batch list by signing yourself up with all of your closest friends. That way, 1) You'd know everyone there, and 2) You'll still get to experience Tagaytay's great post-Christmas cold -- which is now gone.

That was our case, and we are so going to follow that same advice next year.

The Day My Belt Broke

Yes, this just had to happen. This could've been one wrong day. Good thing my friends helped out. It wasn't long before someone called in someone to lend me a belt. I could only imagine what could've happen if they weren't around. My pants, in a second, would've fallen to the ground. (That rhymed, BTW.)

20th Campus Journalism Awards

My first big competition ever. I lost, though it didn't matter that much. I mean, I didn't crash and burn like I imagined. Besides, got to hang out with people I never thought I would.
Lately, I've been realizing just how awesome my friends are. So, about the most depressing day of the year thing?

Nah, I couldn't seem to find it.

The Year's Best Moments 2008 Edition

It was a year of great long weekends,
of things to be left behind,
and things to say hello to.
But no matter where life takes us this time,
here's to another year to be Godwritten.
Happy new year, everyone!
