I tagged along with my sister to our high school, as she was one of the alumni invited to speak for Career Orientation Week.
Seeing the students interested in the talks brought back memories - like how on the same week some years ago, I was in their position. One memory that stands out was when I was a junior who wasn't that much familiar with the college stuff. So, along with my classmate Cara, we went around each stall of each university that was there... until we reached Assumption College's.
And as I kept on asking the people in that stall all these questions, they just had to break it to me. "Ay, Sir, all-girls school po kami."
I made my way back to the classroom embarrassed for not knowing such a fact. "I'm so stu-", I told myself. But the very moment I could say "-pid", I missed turning the knob right and accidentally slammed my face into the door.
